Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan

Trinity Elise will measure the quality of services provided to owners. Quality Assurance / Quality Control are tightly monitored by the Trinity Elise Team, with the project manager and superintendent at the forefront. During construction, the superintendent will monitor field compliance, coordinate inspections, manage the quality. Listed is a brief description of the QA/QC plan for this Project:

Procurement:

  • Develop detailed scope of work packages
  • Verify that all subcontractors are experienced and understand the quality control requirements necessary to construct a healthcare facility
  • Identify the expected level of participation required by the subcontractor in the commissioning and start-up phases of the project.

Quality and Sustainability at the Core

The subcontractors will be made aware of the importance of the QA and their responsibility on the project. Items at potential risk will be discussed at weekly meetings to mitigate necessary action. Subcontractors will also understand that when a deviation is discovered, it is to be corrected immediately to avoid becoming a punch list item to be corrected at a later date.

Prior to award of each subcontract or purchase order, the Trinity Elise Team will meet with each subcontractor/supplier to review the quality requirements and insure they are understood and included in their proposals. A complete review of all documentation, submittals, factory inspections, and testing will be discussed. Delivery schedules will be confirmed and the installation schedule will be reviewed upon award of the subcontract or purchase order.

In addition to quality, Trinity Elise is committed to sustainable design and construction. The firm is a member of the US Green Building Council, and Key staff members are LEED Accredited, and Certified Energy Manager Professionals. The Team fully embraces the LEED Green Building Rating System as an excellent structure to organize and measure efforts to construct and support increasingly design sustainable projects. LEED is much more than a checklist; it is an open ended system that can serve as a guide for construction and design but that also encourages innovation and new approaches to achieve a more sustainable built environment.
